Application Process – Denver Prep Academy (DPA)

We are so excited to see that you are considering DPA as the future school of your child. Deciding on where to send your student-athlete isn’t an easy task, but you can rest assured that if you choose DPA, you won’t regret it.

How Admission Decisions are Made at DPA

Our admission process is specially designed to help us get to know your student and what motivates/inspires them. We also aim to help you and your student get to know us, and to know what you can expect from us.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you will make for your student. The right school will help them become the best version of themselves, while the wrong school can set them back years. We know you won’t be disappointed by DPA.

To start the application process for the 2021-2022 school year, complete the initial application. Please note that there is a $75 application fee. As a parent/guardian, you will also need to create a SchoolCues account. This is the school information system DPA utilizes to build schedules, take attendance, record grades, and communicate with you as a parent/guardian. Click here to create and account.

DPA will contact you as soon as your student’s application has been processed. If we feel like we will be a good fit for your student, we will invite them to participate in a panel interview with our coaches, teachers, and other staff members. Then we will make a decision on whether to move forward or not. We will inform you whether your student has been accepted within two weeks of the interview process.

Tuition assistance is available every year, so if you feel that DPA is the right school for your student, we encourage you to complete an application regardless of your income. Fill out this financial aid form for more information on the aid process.
